Brick finishes, wooden paneling, and green pockets make up the earthy palette of Arena’s interior in DHA-2, Islamabad. The warmth of these raw materials is balanced by manufactured materials of steel, concrete, and glass that bring an industrial feel to this space. Each restaurant is highlighted by simplistic typography so that the user can easily navigate through the indoor and outdoor spaces.

BEVERLY HILLS SPA

The Islamabad-based spa is an interplay of minimal and regal finishes. From gold, brass inlays, polished marble flooring, and water features, this spa provides a luxurious and relaxing environment for its users so that they can, for a short period, disengage from the outside world.

DATICS AI

The concept of ‘third places’ inspired the interior for the Datics Office. This ideology focuses on community building within professional settings to foster a productive framework for working. Different programs are distinctly demarcated through the blurred boundaries of refined glass, louvred partitions, and wall finishes. Subtle and curated placement of color allows each work zone to have a personality of its own. Whether the user wishes to sit privately, casually, or collectively, each zone is available to match their agenda for the day.

DG HUT

No matter where the visitor makes their entry, the porous interior of DG Hut Kaghan remains at par with the adjacent mountainous terrain. At its core, the showcased, open-to-sky tree greets the user and highlights the floating steps that lead upstairs. The use of wooden flooring and stone cladding signal a traditional materiality that is balanced by the contemporary finishes of glass, concrete, and aluminum. Each space, through its attention to detail and materiality, offers a sense of relatability to inhabitant and visitor alike.

DWELLERS OFFICE

Ash wood tiling, glass screens, white plank paneling make up the small workspace interior of the Dwellers Office. The quaint terrazzo table and louvered entrance offers a welcome view of the larger, glass partitioned offices as well as the view outside. This allows the compact office to seem much larger than it actually is. As you step in further, glass screens provide both partition and connectivity for each employee when they sit on their desk. While private working spaces are shifted to either side, away from the hustle and bustle. Each program is carefully represented through alternating materiality and wall finishes, allowing the office interior to speak for itself.

FINURA COLLEGE

The Finura College of International Studies in E-11, through its use of raw, polished, and refined textures, is an eclectic blend of industrial and rustic elements. The linear slabs of concrete, brick, and glass divide the interior spaces both physically and visually, demarcating the programs of each zone. Curated punctures, on either side, frame the foothills of the Margallas and maintain an air of curiosity, for its audience, at different intervals. Each space within this institution exudes an air of discovery and learning, befitting of the users who occupy it.

FULBRIGHT ALUMNI CONFERENCE 2019

The set design for USEFP Fulbright’s 16th annual Alumni Conference in November 2019 was designed keeping the motivation of the conference in mind. The set included a geometric pattern of the word map with in-built lighting along with connecting threads that mimic the Fulbright recipient’s reach across the globe.

FULBRIGHT STUDIO DESIGN

The interview setup for USEFP Fulbright’s discussion was curated keeping a professional backdrop in mind. The blue tones of the set pay homage to the organization’s brand colors while the charcoal, brick finish adds a layer of dimension. The finishing touch of casual seating and decor signify a relaxed environment that prompts the user to find comfort and open up during panel discussions.

FWO COFFEE SHOP

The subtle hues of pastel fabric upholsteries bring life into the neutral, earthy finishes of FWO’s Passu Coffee Shop. The central terrazzo flooring fits right in and brings together these contrasting tones, all while paying homage to neighboring monochromatic wall claddings.

To remain in line with the company’s mission statement, HRSG’s corporate interior in Lahore follows a steady, neutral palette that primarily comprises concrete, wood, and paint finishes. The regularity of this palette is balanced by pockets of vegetation, glass partitions, and hints of brass. This addition brings a layer of dimension to the interior that allows the employees to feel at par with their environment.

INTEGRY - HOME OFFICE SERIES

Integry’s venture to uplift the interiors of its employees was devised to promote more residence-friendly work environments for employees that primarily worked from home. Initially, we collaborated with employees Sara, Huniya, and Wahaj in order to hone in on their specific needs. Each of their home environments, whether it was a bedroom or a lounge, was converted and realized to promote comfort, functionality, and efficiency.

KHUSHHALI BANK

For Khushhali Bank’s IT Department’s uplift in Islamabad, an approach for modern and rich interior finishes was taken. White terrazzo tiles, wooden louvers, and concrete finishes provide the essence for this design, while fluted glass partitions and planters provide barriers between different programs in the interior.
